Abstract

This article “Teachers Thoughtful Tasks - Train And Track  The Tutees” discusses how teachers can train the L2 learners through various tasks and assignments. It depicts  the significance of English in general and its use in Indian states with specific reference to Telugu states, schools and in our daily lives.  It also mentions Thorndike’s Laws of Learning and various methods to improve fluency, accuracy and communicative competence among the students. It spins around Innate language structures and acquired language structures and tries to culminate methods to improve English language in the classroom where students find it difficult to acquire language on their own.  The Tutees are segregated into teams and are assigned different tasks to complete.  These tasks instill confidence and make them proactive in acquiring language skills. It concludes with the problems encountered by the teachers in training students to become adept in using language.
